Foxconn to Open Foxconn Place Chippewa Valley in Downtown Eau Claire

New Wisconn Valley Innovation Center and technology hub will create 150 high-tech jobs, expand company’s footprint to West Central Wisconsin, and accelerate development of AI 8K+5G ecosystem

Eau Claire, WI – Foxconn Technology Group (Foxconn) today announced it is expanding its Wisconn Valley Innovation Network to West Central Wisconsin as part of its initiative to spur innovation, attract talent and connect with supply chain partners. To foster entrepreneurship, Foxconn will invest in and create a technology hub in the heart of Chippewa Valley through the acquisition of a historic office building and creation of innovation and test centers in downtown Eau Claire. The company plans to close on these properties later this year and open new operations in early 2019.

GREEN BAY, WI – Foxconn Technology Group (Foxconn) today announced that it is expanding its new Wisconn Valley Innovation Network to Green Bay, Wisconsin as part of its initiative to foster and attract talent and connect with supply chain partners throughout the Badger state. Foxconn has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase a landmark property in Green Bay downtown, with a closing on the property and opening of the innovation center by Foxconn anticipated later this year.

Foxconn Designates Downtown Milwaukee Building As North American Corporate Headquarters

Building Located at 611 E. Wisconsin Ave. Will Undergo Renovation, House More Than 500 Employees and Serve as Foxconn Innovation Center

MILWAUKEE, WI – Foxconn Technology Group (Foxconn) today announced that it is establishing its North American Corporate Headquarters in downtown Milwaukee after closing on its purchase of a seven-story office building located at 611 E. Wisconsin Avenue. More than 500 employees will work at the building, which will also serve as a Foxconn Innovation Center. The center will work with startup companies and entrepreneurs to develop applications for AI 8K+5G display technology that Foxconn is creating.

Foxconn and UW-Milwaukee Create New International Engineering Co-Op Program

Educational partnership to give Wisconsin students internship experience in Taiwan

MILWAUKEE – Foxconn Technology Group, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Chung Yuan Christian University signed an agreement Thursday to create an international co-op program in which UWM engineering students will study at the university in Taiwan and work at a Foxconn facility there before returning to UWM to complete their degrees.
