Road Construction Update

Roadwork is now completed on County A and along WIS 20 between I-94 and County H. Work remaining with the County H repaving project is expected to be completed in early June. Work on the east and west frontage roads continues with good progress being made towards completion of the work before the end of June. Work on the preparatory I-94 freeway project continues with traffic shifts planned prior to the work being completed.

Memorial Day Holiday Work Restrictions

Holiday work restrictions will be in place for WisDOT work beginning at noon today, May 25 and remaining in place until 6:00AM on Tuesday, May 29. All work zones will be opened to the fullest amount possible to help accommodate the anticipated holiday traffic volumes. Travelers may see crews working on projects with no impacts to the roadways. Drivers will still need to be patient and alert for slowing traffic, especially in work zones. The Wisconsin State Patrol and other law enforcement agencies will be out enforcing traffic laws and assisting stranded motorists. WisDOT reminds motorists to plan ahead, buckle up, watch their speed and celebrate responsibly.
