New Website to Connect with Foxconn Project

Governor Scott Walker announced a new resource today for those seeking information regarding the Foxconn Project, WisconnValley.wi.gov. This website will serve as a centralized location to access the resources and information available regarding the state's largest economic development project.

The new website includes:

  • An overview of the Foxconn project, including details of the project and answers to some frequently asked questions;
  • Details on the Wisconsin Supply Chain Marketplace, which enables companies seeking to do business with Foxconn to register to get connected to the company;
  • Sign up to be notified of bidding opportunities as the project progresses under the public construction info signup page; and
  • Construction updates on the project itself, as well as nearby roads and highways.

More information will be added to the website as it becomes available.

Resource Fair for Current or Potential Construction Employees

State and local partners are announcing the first resource fair for construction workers on March 29 at Festival Hall in Racine. Individuals interested in construction work for Foxconn or the surrounding infrastructure development will get information to understand the opportunities and qualifications associated with the project in addition to connecting with additional resources to assist with becoming fully qualified when opportunities become available.

The Wisconn Valley News is published every other week and designed to keep interested individuals up to date on Foxconn construction plans, infrastructure improvements, traffic pattern updates, and more.  Local elected officials, suppliers, contractors and members of the public are encouraged to turn to the Wisconn Valley News for the latest project status, road updates, next steps, and interesting facts.  When appropriate, special bulletins will also be distributed to ensure the most timely information possible.
